Tiffaney is a classic rally and classic regularity rally enthusiast and has participated in numerous classic rallies in Europe, initially co-piloting for her husband and then recently as a pilot herself. She was asked to become the Monaco National Co-ordinator to the International Automobile Federation Women in Motorsport Commission (WIMC FIA) which was created in 2009 and is presided by Michel Mouton (the female French former rally driver champion).
The commission has been created to encourage, support and increase women participation in all fields of Motorsport worldwide.
In October 2018 the Automobile Club of Monaco created its own Women in Motorsport Commission of which Tiffaney Perlino is President.
Tiffany talked to us about Women in Motorsport past and present and what the WIMC FIA is doing to increase the presence of women and girls within the industry and a little about her own experiences as a co-pilot and pilot in classic rallies.
Michelle Perlino, who is a member of the Monaco Commission talked about her experiences and how regularity rally works.
Geraldine Hardy joined in to speak about her preparations for the Saudi Arabia Dakar rally.
As always, this was not a corporate event and there was no sales presentations. The event was an opportunity to network with a group of interesting and like- minded people in an informal setting both before, during and after the lunch.
